I can hardly believe how difficult it's been trying to find the answer to what MUST BE a simple question... Why the &^*&^() did the wise ones behind Ubuntu abandon a straightforward naming convention like /dev/usb/lp0?! My printer is an Epson Stylus C88+ directly attached to a usb port.
