Streamlink to Webcam on Ubuntu? (or webcam from file)

Clash Royale CLAN TAG #URR8PPP up vote 0 down vote favorite I want to capture a live hls stream using Streamlink and send it to a dummy webcam which then can be sent over Skype, video chat etc. I currently have Streamlink working and can send the stream either to VLC or save it to a file. installing a wildcard Certificate on a subdomain running on ubuntu

Clash Royale CLAN TAG #URR8PPP up vote 0 down vote favorite i have tried for a full day in vain to install a wildcard Certificate on owncloud (which is a subdomain and running on obuntu 16.04 with apache2) Any one who can help me here with concrete steps? Thanks in advance. The system is running in low-graphics mode, Ubuntu 16.04

My machine was working fine and today after an update it asked for restart. I did so. After reboot, it gave me an error message which has been reported many times and can be found at After clcking ok , I got another error message of which I did not take a screenshot. After some time the machine asked me to login and after login, when I tried to connect to wifi, it is not able to search any wifi. Since, it is showing searching option for a long time. I tried to update many times and restarted. Same is going on in each reboot.
