Bitmask VPN on Ubuntu 18.04 could not startup

Image
Clash Royale CLAN TAG #URR8PPP up vote 0 down vote favorite I installed Bitmask VPN on Ubuntu 18.04 using the commands for Debian testing and Ubuntu next release (18.04, Bionic). (https://dl.bitmask.net/linux/) It worked for a few days and then stopped working. If I open Gnome/Ubuntu Software application and click on the Launch button for Bitmask a blank terminal window opens for a few seconds and nothing else happens. I also downloaded a Standalone Bundle but couldn't get it to work. (https://dl.bitmask.net/linux/) I got as far as logging in but then bitmask disappears. 18.04 vpn share | improve this question edited Jun 5 at 21:49 vine_user 2,036 2 17 23 asked Jun 4 at 16:38 Jim 1 2 add a comment  |  up vote 0 down vote favorite I installed Bitmask VPN on Ubuntu 18.04 using the commands for Debian testing and Ubuntu next release (18.04, Bionic). Using printer on a Windows domain (16.04)

Image
Clash Royale CLAN TAG #URR8PPP up vote 0 down vote favorite I am trying to use a network printer on a Windows AD domain. The address is something like: \name.ad.int.com or smb://name.ad.int.com/ I tried to connect this as a samba printer and also other ways, but somehow can't get it work. I am on 16.04, but not on the Windows domain and I have a different username than my name on the domain. I can connect to the domain via nautilus: Connect to Server. Then I see three folder, one of which is print$ . Any advice on how I best connect my computer to use this printer? Thanks. 16.04 windows printing domain-server share | improve this question edited Jun 4 at 18:02 Zanna 47.8k 13 116 226 asked Jun 4 at 17:49 mace 242 2 10 Some printers support mutiple protocols, including IPP protocol, so try prepending ipp:// to it – Sergiy Kolodyazhnyy Jun 4 at 18:50 this wiki help.ubuntu.com/community...
