ubuntu MATE, rezising margin, how to increase?

I found that it's quite hard to change windows size, i found one setting, under /usr/share/theme//metacity-1/metacity-theme-1.xml
<distance name="left_width" value="6"/>
<distance name="right_width" value="6"/>
<distance name="bottom_height" value="6"/>
and it helps, buy also makes borders big.
How to change resizing margin (so it's easier to hit it with your mouse), but without increasing visible border ?
