Although my battery is of 4400 mAh it's being charged upto only 2200 mAh.

I used :

cat /sys/class/power_supply/BAT0/charge_full = 2200mAH

cat /sys/class/power_supply/BAT0/charge_full_design = 4400mAH

Does this mean the battery has degraded by 50%?, Cuz I just bought it .

  • This is something you would want to contact the manufacturer about. Either they put the wrong value into charge_full_design (the ideal maximum capacity of the battery--it's normal for this to be higher than the actual charge_full value) , or you got a faulty unit.
