Today I tried to do a bootable Pendrive with Ubuntu 18.04.

But I got an error:

"DD image
• C:Windowsexplorer.exe (r)"

And I don't know what to do with it.

I selected:

  • partition scheme MBR for UEFI

  • FAT32

  • 8192b cluster size (it was default)

I have 16gb GoodRam pendrive

  • I changed partition scheme to MBR for UEFI and choose ubuntu iso file, then clicked start. I was doing it step by step with this tutorial: tutorials.ubuntu.com/tutorial/…

  • Oh, I forgot to say, that rufus asked me I if I want to write in ISO image mode or in DD image mode. Firstly I choosed ISO, but I tried with DD too.

  • I think I have something wrong with my pendrive, beacuse when I tried to format it with windows 10 tools, it says that formating cannot be fully done completed.

  • I used another pendrive and I have this same error, but when doing a format, I have an error too.

  • On other computer I can do format of my pendrive, so I guess that I could do LiveUSB on it too.
