So, i installed ubuntu alongside windows on a brand nwe desktop. when turning on the pc, grub loads perfectly and let me choose wheather to load windows or ubuntu. when i simply choose ubuntu nothing shows. although i can hear the sound of log in. the only way to see a desktop is by going to recovery mode and just select the normal resume option. another issue is tha my display is 1280x1024 but the only resolution i can choose is 1024x768 and the scaling is BAD. are those issues connected?
