I have just installed Ubuntu 18.04 along with Windows on my Dell Inspiron 7000 Gaming Laptop. My problem is that the battery icon does not show.
When using upower -i /org/freedesktop/uPower/devices/battery/BAT0
command on terminal, it says no power supply
.
Why is this?

Is your battery plugged in? It is the same with me, nothing shows until I plug my battery to the PC.

Make sure you are running the correct parameter. For example using your parameters on my system:
$ upower -i /org/freedesktop/uPower/devices/battery/BAT0

Using the correct parameter however:
$ upower -i /org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/battery_BAT1
