I want to setup an ad-hoc network over WiFi to access my Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. I get a lot of different errors, as I'm not really familiar with the theme. Here is what I did:

First I setup a network with built in functions of Ubuntu. Then I went trough this tutorial. In the stage right now my Ubuntu won't get a static IP and my client system (Mac OSX) won't get a IP address like it should.

Output of ifconfig command:

enp2s0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:c0:08:92:98:d9
