I have a Lenovo-ideapad-500S-14ISK laptop(intel skylake i5-6200u CPU). recently upgraded to Ubuntu 18.04 from then i'm noticing the laptop fan is always on even-though there is no load. on the last OS (Ubuntu 16.04) the fan was only turned on when there is considerable load. Now even when the CPU is idling (clock at 400-500 mhz nd temp 51-54 Celsius) fan is on. This is affecting the battery life heavily! any solutions ..?
