When using Ubuntu 18.04 with two monitors, I'm experiencing all my desktop items being tiled across both monitors. My settings specify that one monitor (external) is above my other (laptop monitor). If, for example, I right click and 'Organize Desktop by Name", it will achieve this by tiling the items by name across the two monitors - as if I have one giant desktop.

Is this normal behavior? If so, is it possible to keep all desktop files restricted to one monitor (perhaps, the primary monitor I've specified in settings)?
