I faced the issue of not being able to watch Channel 4 on demand with Ubuntu 18.04.1. flash player installed, yet neither of web browsers (Chrome, Chromium nor Firefox) plays the video - endless buffering. Is there any solution to fix it?

  • Hello Ekaterina, and welcome to Ask Ubuntu. In order to increase that chances that somebody gives a good answer to your question, the first thing to do is ask a question; you should edit your post and actually include a question. You should also clarify the context: who gives that error message? When does it give that error message? What are you doing in order to make that error message appear? Is the error message unexpected?

  • Unlikely. DRM support is not available in Linux versions of Flash. Easiest method going around this: install virtualbox, windows in that, firefox/chrome in that and enabled drm+flash. I would also advice to mail channel 4 and complain about this (otherwise they never will accept us). Or just ignore them.
