After an update this week, my Ubuntu is not switch off my laptop's screen when the screensaver comes on. (There was something wrong with the update and I had to boot into safe mode to re-update the package). After x amount of time, the laptop locks and displays my desktop background - but never dims or switch off the screen. I've look at settings and tweak all, looks fine.
Laptop on AC power.
Details:
- Ubuntu 17.10
- GNOME Shell 3.26.2
- gnome-panel 3.24.1
