I am experiencing an erratic scrolling issue with the touchpad on my laptop.
Basically scrolling sometimes continues on it's own. Sometimes scrolls up when I have scrolled down, sometimes scrolls down I have scrolled up.
This behaviour happens in most new releases of Ubuntu, Debian and Fedora. Possibly a gnome issue?
Using xev -event mouse, I can see that:
buttons 4&5 are for scrolling, but button 6 is displaying randomly whilst scrolling.
Any ideas how I can get the touchpad to work please?
Thanks in advance.
