Help booting up after installation usb

i installed ubuntu on usb and restarted my imac pressing command and r but went to lock which requires a firmware password,i had recovered my system earlier and never set firmware password.my wireless keyboard won t show capital lock light so can t try system password.any help?

  • Thanks everyone i tried every possibiliy password wise and finally it worked!now i was able to disable firmware password.now a diferent problem i have two keyboards neither work when i boot to ubuntu,both wireless any ideas?if also i want to download the ubuntu thereby taking half the computer do i need to do anything before hand ie partition?
