What brand/model system? Since BIOS/MBR configuration you need to boot Windows and turn off fast start up. askubuntu.com/questions/843153/⦠Make a Windows repair disk. Then see if Boot-Repair will install grub. You may need Windows repair disk as you have BIOS and Windows will need chkdsk or turn hibernation back on and then grub will not boot it. Easier if UEFI.
