Ubuntu not booting after shutdown during installation of software update!

my current laptop status is it's showing a black screen with some kernel code showing Cannot mount commands etc!! It happened when my laptop immediately shutdown due to low battery ( it also shuts down on heating)
I have a dual boot configuration
Please help how to retrieve the data atleast!!
