Created a custom Debian package which can be installed by double clicking on the "test.deb" package in the development system. But if i try to install the same package into another (Ubuntu 16.04 LTS) system by double clicking on "test.deb" package it does not prompt for password and fails to install. However, using the terminal, the command sudo dpkg -i test.deb
installs the application.
Any idea how to make the Ubuntu Software Centre ask for a password and install the package for testing system too?
Thanks
