  • Re-install Ubuntu without losing data in home folder

I have different problems within Ubuntu. I would just like to reinstall the OS, but I'm not entirely sure how to do that. I have a boot-able USB, and that works fine, and it is how I originally installed Ubuntu.

I appreciate any help Thanks :)

What is your problem? Can you boot your computer from the USB drive? Is there another operating system, that you want to keep (for example Windows)? Have you backed up all files, that you want to keep (personal files: pictures, documents etc.)? Which version of Ubuntu have you been running and which version do you want to install? What computer is it (brand name and model)? Please edit your original question too add answers to these questions, and it will be easier for us to help.

This is pretty vague. I think you should refer to help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuReinstallation, and then see if you have a more specific question left unanswered.
