can't access droplet after accessing ssh public key

We are a team of four developers, who are working on a digital ocean ubuntu droplet, where i added the first ssh key when i deployed the droplet. when i enter the cd into the ~/.ssh directory and find the authorized_keys file, i added the public key from another team member, underneath mine, but he still can't access it? Maybe there is some permissions or something that should be enabled?
