I know this question has been answered a hell lot of times but I tried everything and the problem persists. It was working fine until I changed NVIDIA's driver version and switching it back doesn't solve my issue. I just tried updating the kernel too but nothing changed. Here's what I've got:
Ubuntu 16.04 NVIDIA driver 390.30 Kernel version: 4.15.0 Problem: when I close the lid of my laptop and I open it again, the screen turns on but it's all black and nothing will happen.
Thanks
