Im really new to using Ubuntu, and extremely technologically incapable..
somehow i managed to install ubuntu onto my very old Toshiba satellite L500 and most things seem to be working well except that i cant connect my pc to tv through HDMI anymore. when i do, both screens just sort of freeze and go black.
i have spent days sorting through forums and cant find anything that works..
do i need to install a new driver? i tried turning everything off and then connecting the cables before rebooting but to no avail.
some help would be much appreciated, as i dont even know what a driver is! or what it does...
thanks in advance
