I installed windows 10 and ubuntu 16.04 in dual boot a few months ago. But 2 days ago, by showing "your pc ran into a problem and needs to restart" message windows 10 reboot pc and till now it shows me a black screen but nothing is working in windows although ubuntu is working without any problem.
Now what to do for getting out of this situation?

Are you booting Windows thru grub? Is system UEFI and Windows in UEFI boot mode? If so directly boot Windows from UEFI boot menu and see if f8 gets you into repair console. Otherwise use your Windows repair flash drive or installer's repair console. Grub only boots working Windows. And Windows updates may turn fast start back on or NTFS needs chkdsk. Then grub will not boot Windows.
