Can you be a little more specific please? This Ubuntu machine is a Virtual machine in virtual box? How are you connecting the printer? IP? Hostname?

I have Ubuntu 16.04 installed on my VirtualBox and I have updated my network printer with wireless access but when I print test job the status box acts like the printer is about to print but then it says unable to print.
