Thanks all,

A new x380 Thinkpad with usb-c dock running KDE 17.?.

Everything works if I connect my laptop directly with an HDMI cable or my HDMI to DisplayPort to the external LG monitor. Also, the setup works if Windows is booted. The Old OneLink+ with my x270 works with this monitor as well, so I figure it must be Ubuntu related, right? Thanks for any ideas :)

External (black) monitor is in the back with thinkpad KDE in the front, connected to usb-c dock via display port
