I have a dell 7559 with a 250GB SSD loaded with windows 10. I have another 275GB m.2 (Crucial) and I want to install Linux on it. In a video they show that on needs to clone the m.2 SSD with the existing one. I have a some questions:
- How should I approach cloning if I want to install ubuntu on my 275GB m.2
If I skip the cloning part can I install the ubuntu on 275GB m.2? If I do so will the memory space be independent? i.e the windows OS will show only 250 GB of space (initial SSD) and ubuntu will show 275 GB space (m.2).
Without refering to above queries, now that I have 2 SSDs how should I proceed to install two OS that will ensure the best performance of my laptop? What is your suggestion?
boot dual-boot grub2 partitioning ssd
