Change default connection string from CUPs

I have installed a CUPs service on my Raspberry Pi and installed several printers there.
I want now, that all my Ubuntu clients connect automatically to my Pi as CUPs server without a local installation of cups.
On Arch Linux Wiki I found an interesting section about this topic, but the solution does not work on my Ubuntu clients, when I add in my .bashrc the environment variable export CUPS_SERVER=raspberry-pi:631.
How can I change the default connection string to a CUPs server? See my screenshot.
