I am new to ubuntu. I want to dual boot it with windows. I have created unallocated disk space in windows. However when I try to install ubuntu it can't find the partition.
When I run $suda parted -l It can only show the USB-drive the installation is on.
Anyone has a clue what I could do to fix this?
Thanks in advance for the help!

Another thing to check, Is Windows using Basic disk formatting or dynamic ? Dynamic partitioning will not show to Linux.

Start Windows. Where you changed the partition size, look to see if it says basic or dynamic.

Does this system have RAID or Intel SRT on? If so install AHCI drivers into Windows and change UEFI drive setting to AHCI.
