the left part of my LCD is broken due to failed LCD bonding. With xrandr (xorg) there was an option to resize the desktop via a virtual screen. Is there a similar option for wayland?
Thanks in advance.

Why not just choose Xorg session instead? Xorg is going to be default in 18.04 LTS anyway.

From what I know only because of LTS Version. 18.10 will be Wayland again.

maybe, but the we have to hope that they have fixed the problems in Wayland. Any way, Xorg will still be an alternative for many years to come.
