I Know I can make a partition using External Case- attaching internal hard drive as USB to other laptop and make partitions using 3rd party software but I don't have an external case. Is there any other alternative?

  • UEFI or BIOS system and Ubuntu install. If BIOS, Windows only installs to a primary NTFS partition with the boot flag. If system is UEFI, you must convert Windows 7 installer to flash drive and move some files around to make it UEFI bootable. And then just install to unallocated space.
