1080p will not play smoothly

My HP laptop supports 1080p and I was able to use it with Edge Browser on Windows 10, however I have Ubuntu now and I am unable to get the same results.
Am I using the correct driver? (I have manually enabled hardware acceleration in Google Chrome).



$ xdpyinfo | grep dimensions
dimensions: 1920x1080 pixels (508x286 millimeters)

$ lshw -C video
