KUbuntu 17.10- How to change screen resolution?

I'm using windows 10 and Oracle's VirtualBox to run Linux machines.



while using Ubuntu 16.04 and Ubuntu Budgie - screen resolution detects correct screen size (1920X1080). But the other night, when trying to install Kubuntu 17.10, screen size stays at VGA (as shown in system settings).



Any lead why ?
