I have deleted my usr/share

I used the command rm -r usr/share upwork.
I wanted to delete upwork but I ended up deleting my entire share files.
Now I can't log in/requested to log in. It's just blank.

  • Adding the space between share and upwork made it so rm -r saw two different things. rm -r usr/share/upwork would have been correct.

  • You've essentially done a more extreme version of Recreate the *.desktop files at /usr/share/applications/ - the same solution may work for you, although you will likely need to do it from the CLI (Ctrl-Alt-F2 for example)
