I am having an issue getting Digital software Decoder to correctly output audio in Ubuntu. This DSD install has been outputiing audio from GQRX via UDP when using the command...

socat udp-listen:7355 - | padsp dsd -i -o pa:2

.... however when I use the command.....

dsd -i pa:1 -o pa:0

... I get the error

Syncing voice output stream An error occured while using the portaudio output stream Error number: -9983 Error message: Stream is stopped =======RM Syncing voice output stream An error occured while using the portaudio output stream Error number: -9983
Error message: Stream is stopped

Syncing voice output stream An error occured while using the portaudio output stream Error number: -9983 Error message: Stream is stopped

Audio is being input to the line in on the rear of the machine. It shows as 'plugged in" in pulse audio and shows activity on the mic level gauge.

I am using a Uniden Bearcat with discriminator mod ....(works perfectly with DSD in Windows)

Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

DSD 1.7.1

MBELIB1 .3.0

*PortAudio version number = 1899 PortAudio version text = 'PortAudio V19-devel (built Aug 11 2015 07:04:31)'

Number of devices = 2

--------------------------------------- device #0

Name = pulse

Host API = ALSA

Max inputs = 32, Max outputs = 32

Default sample rate = 44100.00

--------------------------------------- device #1

[ Default Input, Default Output ]

Default sample rate = 44100.00 ----------------------------------------------*
