Dota 2 freeze issue

I have installed Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS and done all updates from Ubuntu Software.
I installed Steam successfully then Dota 2.
I have installed additional driver for Geforce GTX 750 Ti from System Settings -> Software & Updates -> Additional Driver tab. Restarted the system.
When i run dota 2 it runs fine. But in between game it freezes for 1 second then runs fine. this continues ththrought out game.
Plese help.
