I have Ubuntu 14.04.5 kernel Linux 3.13.0 server running Samba. There is no problem accessing the server for file sharing from either a ubuntu 14 desktop or any laptop. But since upgrading the desktop and laptop to Ubuntu 16.04 I have started having problems accessing the server. Sometime I can see the server but some other times I cannot see the server. Sometime I can access file sharing and sometime I cannot. With the laptop it is even worse, I can see the server but cannot open the file. It keeps on asking for name and password, even though I have used the correct user name and password. Please help. Thanks
