I have a 4G USB Dongle connected to my RapsberryPi3 with Ubuntu Mate installed. Connection works ok from raspberrypi.
I then configured an AP-HotSpot and it automatically connects to the internet via USB Dongle just fine. The AP comes with an automatically configured DHCP on 10.42.0.x.. No clue where to change that configuration, but it is working fine, so no urgent need.
I now also want to connect to the Ethernet port and then get an IP from that DHCP and get a default route to the internet too..
For some reason the Ethernet port is not assigned an IP...
I tried creating a bridge between Ethernet and USB Dongle, but that partly worked and confused the network traffic very strangely, so I removed that bridge, after which the network stopped behaving strangely.
What do i need to do to get this to work properly?
regards,
Jacob
