I am trying to connect to my hostel WiFi but it is not displaying in the list of available WiFi. I tried connecting using hidden network by entering all details but nothing is working. I'm using Ubuntu 17.10.

  • Do no open or public wifi networks show in the list ? Does the network work on another device? If this is the only network that does not show up in the list (and other ones do) i'd suspect that the problem lies with the WiFi network.
