When I connect to my P4V (the newest version) on Ubuntu 16.04 using tight VNC (1.3.10-0ubuntu3 version) server I get the following error:
XKEBYOARD extension not supported. Besides, I am unable to type any of the keys in P4V because they are mixed up (when I press s I get b on the screen).

  • The problem is related only to tightvncserver. So, if you use vnc4server, everything works perfectly.
