I've done a mild search through the different threads related to this issue and have not found a specific fix as to what I'm experiencing. As soon as I hit the install Ubuntu button the installer freezes and asks to send an error report ( which I did several times). The OS will not install regardless of what I try. I attempted to download from torrent and getting the same results. I meet system requirements. And, as a matter of fact I had 16.04 installed and working just fine before I had a windows fall developers update that corrupted grub. I totally removed 16.04 and was hoping to get a fresh start with 17.10. Is there a fix to this issue???

  • When this happens is there any error message, or an option to see 'details' before sending the report? We need to see details, in order to troubleshoot. Your question is too generic in my opinion.

  • Yes, it does, but I will be unable to get a screen shot for a couple days at least. I'm working crazy overtime for the next week and this is low on the priority list at the moment. Will update as soon as possible.
