There is an ArchWiki article and a question here about HiDPI setup when there is one external monitor. I followed the example (xrandr --output DP2 --right-of eDP1 --panning 3840x2160+2560+0 --scale 2x2) and it worked for me. However, I usually work with two external monitors (both non-HiDPI) instead of one, while my laptop screen is HiDPI. And I'm not sure what to do in this case.

I tried the command xrandr --output HDMI1 --right-of eDP1 --panning 3840x2400+2560+0 --scale 2x2 --output DP2 --left-of eDP1 --panning 3840x1920+2560+0 --scale 2x2 (not sure if this is the right thing to write), then both DP2 and HDMI1 become of the wrong scale. I also tried several other variants, but every time there are some problems (e.g. the contents of eDP1 somehow being shown on DP2). If I don't use any --scale command, they all display contents correctly but then the scaling is wrong.

Could anybody provide an example of working multiple external monitors setup? Thanks.
