I have a dual boot Windows 10 and Ubuntu 16.04. Wifi is fully operational on Windows, however, there is no option to enable wifi in the top right corner of the screen.

Based on my little Ubuntu knowledge, this seems to be the problem:

sudo lshw -C network
*-network
description: Ethernet interface
product: RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller
vendor: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd.

resources: irq:171 ioport:2000(size=256) memory:91104000-91104fff memory:91100000-91103fff
*-network UNCLAIMED

clock: 33MHz
capabilities: pm msi pciexpress cap_list
configuration: latency=0
resources: ioport:1000(size=256) memory:91000000-9100ffff

How do I get rid of the network unclaimed? Or is there some other problem entirely?

Please inform me if more info is needed. I am very much a beginner.

Help is much urgently needed and appreciated!!

Thanks
