While running the sudo apt-get update at Ubuntu 14.04 LTS . The following error is being encountered:(im beginner in ubuntu).I remember it was working fine the last time I tried.

It looks like that mirror is down at the moment. I can see the default nginx page when visiting ir.archive.ubuntu.com in a web browser, where I would expect to see the root of the Ubuntu repository. You need to select a different source for your updates.

While running the sudo apt-get update at Ubuntu 14.04 LTS . The following error is being encountered:(im beginner in ubuntu).I remember it was working fine the last time I tried.

It looks like that mirror is down at the moment. I can see the default nginx page when visiting ir.archive.ubuntu.com in a web browser, where I would expect to see the root of the Ubuntu repository. You need to select a different source for your updates.
