I then setup the remoting following the steps described here: PowerShell remoting over SSH. Even though the steps target Ubuntu 14.04, I could make my way through them. But when I am trying something as simple as executing something on my own machine through remoting I get: PS /etc/ssh> Invoke-Command -ComputerName ehouarn-perret-ThinkPad-E460 -ScriptBlock Write-Output Hello Invoke-Command : MI_RESULT_ACCESS_DENIED At line:1 char:1 + Invoke-Command -ComputerName ehouarn-perret-ThinkPad-E460 -ScriptBloc ... + ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ + CategoryInfo : InvalidOperation: (:) [Invoke-Command], PSInvalidOperationException + FullyQualifi...

I did a shutdown in windows shutdown /r then when I start my computer, I noticed my other boot point (ubuntu and my hdd) were missing from grub. That happens usually after a windows update. I started a live usb to do a boot repair (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Repair). I usually do this when windows update get rid of my ubuntu. But since this shutdown /r and the boot repair utility, my ubuntu starts in emergency mode . I did a complete shutdown in windows, disable hibernate thing, but ubuntu won't boot up. I started a live cd of ubuntu to do a fsck. I did sudo umount /dev/sda3 then got /dev/sda3: not mounted . But when I tried sudo fsck /dev/sda3 all I got in return is fsck from util-linux 2.27.1 my /etc/fstabs: # /etc/fstab: static file syste...

When I'm in a directory and I wish to search in this directory Nautilus starts searching in my entire computer instead of just snapping to the first file/folder starting with the letter I typed. So the behaviour I'm looking for is basically this. Imagine I have a directory with 3 folders in it called foo, bar and baz. Then when I click the letter 'B' I simply want nautilus to snap to bar, instead of bringing up this search bar as it does now. Is this possible? nautilus share | improve this question asked 16 hours ago PEREZje 16 2 migrated from unix.stackexchange.com 12 hours ago This question came from our site for users of Linux, Fre...
