I have a notebook, being too slow for Win 10 and I want to change to the leightweight Lubuntu. Unfortunately booting from DVD or USB-Stick are impossible. How do I install Lubuntu via Ethernet? Therefore, I have another Win 10 PC and no server. Can I use this one to install Lubuntu on my notebook by LAN?

Does your laptop have capabilities to boot PXE over ethernet? If so, you would need to setup some sort of DHCP server with TFTP capabilities to allow for PXE booting across the network so that you can install Lubuntu. You can look out there for making a USB boot stick that you can setup a Live Boot on another system with DHCP and TFTP for PXE booting. I did one about 7 years ago, but it was not an easy job.
