Used volume is visible in properties but files are invisible in a volume

My laptop is dual booted with ubuntu 16.04 and windows. I have a common volume of approximately 700 GB common between both systems. The size of the used volume in properties of this volume is 140 GB. But the files visible in the volume are just 20 GB other 120 GB is invisible. How can I retrieve that data? It is not accessible even from windows.

The data is very important. Please help.
