I recently got a brand new Asus UX430UAR laptop with Intel i5-8250U, and I installed Ubuntu 18.04 on it.

Sadly, I cannot get the fan sensors detection to operate and I do believe that it doesn't actually trigger even under load.

I installed of course lm-sensors etc, and I tried pretty much every fin (including nbfc, fancontrol (which doesn't work at all since pwmconfig cannot cast), but I cannot detect the actual fan. Nevertheless, I get the temp rights and my CPU runs at around 60+ degrees.

I also know it isn't fairly hot for a CPU, but it gets problematic since the aluminium body dissipates heat pretty well, it dissipates it right on my legs, which makes it very uncomfortable.

Any hint on this?

Thanks in advance.
