My Ubuntu has frozen [closed]

please my Ubuntu has stopped working. I was using it and all of a sudden it froze, So I force offed it with the power button. now when I on it it only shows the mouse cursor, It doesn't even allow me to login. Any help please.

          Finally works. It turned out that I just had to login using the Ubuntu recovery mood. Restart the computer and all is working normal again. but still now I don't know what caused the problem
