Clam AV TK and terminal usage

Looking to use Clam AV to scan my windows partition it seems to crash whereas it doesn't on non-windows partitions?
I opted to use the terminal instead but cannot see where the output goes? Following these instructions I can perform a scan but do not know where the output goes? Or must I pipe it to >> output.txt
