install intel graphics driver on 18.04LTS i915 Cherry Trail

Is possible to install the Intel Graphics Driver manually on 18.04? I've an HP tablet with Z8500 CPU and the main problem is: it's impossible to play a simple video because the GPU offload lacks. On 16.04 with the Intel Graphics Update tool it went very well but it's not supported now.
